Mental health is the leading cause of absenteeism and overall work dissatisfaction. In today’s high-producing corporate culture, employees are even more susceptible to experiencing low morale, burnout, and poor communication, all of which directly impacts individual and group performance levels and culture. In addition to the growing levels of stress and fatigue in the workplace, the changing rules of office etiquette and professionalism make important conversations even more difficult to be had. Newsha’s approach brings mental health and wellness into the spotlight, and as a result, decreases the surrounding stigma about what ‘therapy’ is, how to ask for help, and encourages employees to pursue their own personal and professional growth, as an individual and as a group.
